The Alexandra School Alumni Association in collaboration with the Board of Management and the Alexandra School held a Cocktail to launch the 125th Anniversary celebrations at the Caribbean Gallery of Art, Northern Business Centre, Speightstown, St. Peter, on Saturday, January 12th, 2019. This event was also used to launch the Art Exhibition for the northern schools, which included art work from the Alexandra School, the Alleyne School, the Coleridge and Parry School and the Darryl Jordan Secondary School.

The event was attended by approximately 50 persons, which included the Minister of Labour and Social Partnership Relations and Member of Parliament for St. Peter, the Chairman of the Board of Management and the Principal of the Alexandra School, who delivered brief remarks during the Launch. A presentation was also made by the Chairperson of the 125th Anniversary Committee, Ms. Cora Cumberbatch of the upcoming activities.
